Background & Statement of the problem: The study addresses various types of linguistic connotations, such as vocabulary and structure.
Objectives: Objective is to uncover the linguistic implications, lexical and grammatical within the verse; aiming to elucidate the meanings attributed to these linguistic structures within cultural and linguistic context of Arab society. It seeks to elucidate the contextual significance of these structures within the broader narrative framework of the verse.
Methods: The researcher adopted the analytical and deductive methods.
Results: Findings indicate convergence of semantic, grammatical, and linguistic elements in depicting a pivotal scene within the narrative. This scene involves the interaction among three parties: Alaziz’s wife, women, and Joseph.
Conclusions (Recommendations and contributions): The study discerned distinctions between terms such as
“deception” and “malicious intent,” “sent” and “ba’th,”, “used” and “prepared,” “saw” and “sight.” It explored the significance of letters repetition in “cut off” and analyzed the nuanced meaning behind the women’s exclamation “God forbid” in the negative, followed by an affirmative assertion in a restrictive manner: “Perfect is Allah! This is not a man; this is none but a noble angel.” Based on findings, the researcher recommends investigations that compile comprehensive analyses of general and semantic aspects found in various interpretations, pertaining to pronunciation or composition.
