Using Big Data to Achieve Digital Transformation of Banking Services and Financial Inclusion: A Case Study of Al Rayan Bank in Qatar

Background and Problem Statement: This study investigates the influence of big data utilization on the digital transformation of banking services and financial inclusion, with a specific focus on the experiences of Al Rayan Bank in Qatar. The primary issue addressed is the assessment of the efficacy of big data in facilitating digital transformation and enhancing banking services.
Objectives: The study aims to elucidate the role of big data in the digital transformation of the banking sector and to evaluate its impact on operational efficiency, service quality, and financial inclusion.
Methodology: A descriptive analytical approach was employed in this research, which involved analyzing the financial data of Al Rayan Bank and performing statistical tests using SPSS software to test the proposed hypotheses.
Results: The findings indicate a statistically significant positive effect of big data utilization on banks' operational efficiency and the quality of electronic banking services. Additionally, statistically significant differences were observed in the levels of financial inclusion before and after the implementation of big data solutions.
Conclusions and Recommendations: The study concludes that the continued application of big data solutions is beneficial and recommends increased investment in technological infrastructure. Further research is encouraged to assess the long-term effectiveness of these solutions. The study also advocates for developing countries to leverage the experiences of leading financial institutions in the realm of big data and digital transformation.
