Background and Problem Statement: In response to the significant technological advancements that organizations are currently embracing, coupled with the pressing need to adapt and preserve the surrounding environment, there is a critical necessity to leverage these technologies to enhance energy efficiency and execute strategies with greater efficacy.
Objectives: This study seeks to examine the impact of adopting social responsibility as a mechanism for implementing smart sustainable solutions within the Ministry of Public Works and Housing in Jordan. Additionally, it aims to gather insights from senior department directors within the Ministry.
Methods: The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing a questionnaire designed to collect data on the study variables. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 32 directors, as per the Ministry's current organizational structure. The collected data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods.
Results: The findings of the study revealed a statistically significant impact of social responsibility, across its dimensions—economic, legal, moral, and environmental—on the utilization of smart sustainable solutions within the Ministry of Public Works and Housing in Jordan.
Conclusions (Recommendations and Contribution): The study recommends that the Ministry adopt a clear vision of social responsibility, aimed at enhancing its services in the realm of smart sustainable solutions.
