Organizational Communication among School Principals in Hebron Directorate:A Qualitative Investigation into Forms and Challenges

Background & Statement of the problem: The problem addressed in this paper is to scrutinize the diverse manifestations and hindrances in organizational communication among high school principals within the Hebron Governorate.
Objectives: This study aims to investigate the diverse facets and challenges in organizational communication among high school principals in the Hebron Governorate. Additionally, it seeks to explore the influence of various variables, including gender, educational qualification, and years of experience.
Methods: A qualitative methodology was implemented, employing the grounded theory approach. Interviews were conducted with ten high school principals, representing both male and female perspectives, within the Hebron Governorate during the second academic semester of 2022/2023.
Results: The findings revealed common patterns of organizational communication within certain schools, pinpointed obstacles, recommended strategies for overcoming challenges, and proposed viable solutions for high school principals in the Hebron Governorate. Emphasizing diversity in the utilization of organizational communication forms and the implementation of strategic communicative approaches, these suggestions underscore their role in the functioning of educational institutions. Drawing upon the experience and knowledge of managers, school administrators have put forth essential recommendations for an application for broader use in other schools, contributing to their improvement and benefit.
Conclusions (Recommendations and contributions): The study offers several key recommendations, including the development of standards and programs mandating school principals to employ various forms of organizational communication. Additionally, it suggests conducting comprehensive reviews of training programs for school principals to ensure ongoing utilization of organizational communication methods.
