Background & Statement of the problem: This study seeks to construct a counselling program grounded in the PERMA model with the overarching goal of mitigating psychological stress among the participants under examination.
Objectives: Evaluating the Efficacy of a Counseling Program in Stress Reduction: Incorporating PERMA Model Techniques and Advocating for Their Application in Organizational Settings.
Methods: The researcher utilized an experimental methodology to achieve the objectives of the study.
Results: Statistically significant differences were observed in the dimensional measure in favour of the experimental group, suggesting the effectiveness of the guidance program rooted in the PERMA model. Despite this, no statistically significant differences were noted in the follow-up measurement of psychological stress for the experimental group, indicating the sustained impact of the program.
Conclusions (Recommendations and contributions): The study advocates for the development and implementation of counselling programs founded on the PERMA model, to assess their efficacy across diverse employee categories. Additionally, it seeks to underscore the significance of psychological counselling within the work environment.
