Abstract

Objectives: The study aimed to measure the degree of employing teachers in the schools of the northeastern Badia in Jordan for artificial intelligence applications in blended education. And to find out whether there are any statistically significant differences in the response of the sample individuals according to the following variables: (gender, educational qualification, years of experience).

Methodology: The descriptive survey approach was used, and a questionnaire was applied to a sample of (1250) male and female teachers in the schools of the eastern Badia. Statistical analysis was done using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).

Findings: The results showed the degree of employment of teachers in the schools of the northeastern Badia in Jordan for artificial intelligence applications in blended education from their point of view is moderate, as the overall arithmetic mean for the questionnaire items was (2.98), with a standard deviation of (0.85).

Implications: This study helps teachers in the schools of the northeastern Badia in Jordan to identify training needs in the use of artificial intelligence application techniques. It also helps the competent managers in how to reduce the obstacles that may prevent the optimal benefit from activating artificial intelligence applications in the workplace and draw the attention of decision-makers in the educational process to the importance of developing curricula in light of employing artificial intelligence applications.

Conclusions: The study recommended providing special training programs specialized in artificial intelligence applications and their use in education in general and blended education in particular, and calculate them in the teacher ranking system within professional development programs.
